Privacy Policy
RedactSure builds privacy and security tools for AI-assisted work. This policy explains what we collect through the public website at redactsure.com and, at a high level, through the RedactSure application at app.redactsure.com.
Contact
For privacy requests, contact privacy@redactsure.com. If you use RedactSure through an employer or organization, we may direct some requests to that organization when it controls the account or workspace.
Information we collect on the public website
- Basic request information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages requested, referring page, approximate location derived from IP address, and timestamps.
- Cookie and local storage preferences, including whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics or marketing tools.
- Optional analytics information if you choose to allow analytics cookies or similar technologies.
- Information you send to us directly, such as email messages or support requests.
Information we collect in the RedactSure application
The application may process account information, authentication data, organization membership, product settings, task configuration, uploaded or connected content, documents, contacts, browser-agent session metadata, operational logs, and security logs. The exact information depends on how you or your organization use the product.
RedactSure also records first-party product analytics events, such as login, logout, session start, session end, task completion, and task failure. These events are intended to measure product usage and reliability. We design these events to avoid storing prompts, document names, contact names, credential values, or other unnecessary sensitive details.
How we use information
- Provide, secure, monitor, and improve the website and application.
- Authenticate users and maintain sessions.
- Operate AI-agent workflows requested by users or organizations.
- Detect abuse, troubleshoot failures, and maintain auditability.
- Understand aggregate website and product usage when permitted.
- Communicate about accounts, support, security, and product updates.
- Comply with legal, contractual, and security obligations.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential storage for security, application sessions, and your privacy choices. Optional analytics and marketing tools on the public website are controlled by your cookie preferences. See the Cookie Policy for details.
Service providers
We use service providers for hosting, content delivery, authentication, infrastructure, logging, analytics, security, communications, and support. These providers process information for us under their own security and privacy terms. If optional Google Tag Manager or analytics tools are enabled, Google may receive information according to your consent choices and Google's terms.
Demo data
Public demos on redactsure.com use fictional or synthetic names, account numbers, SSNs, emails, banks, agencies, transactions, and records. They are not associated with real people, institutions, accounts, or payments.
Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the website and application, maintain security, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and support legitimate business operations. Retention periods vary by data type, account status, customer agreement, security need, and legal requirement.
Your choices and rights
You can change public-site cookie preferences at any time through the footer link. Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, deletion, correction, portability, or limits on certain uses of personal information. You may also use Your Privacy Choices for optional marketing and sale/share-style opt-outs where applicable.
Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but RedactSure is designed around reducing unnecessary exposure of sensitive data.
Children
RedactSure is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as our website, product, providers, or legal obligations change. The updated date shows when this page was last revised.
